Liko Slings

Liko's Original Sling is a basic sling model that offers comfortable and secure lifting for both the person and carer. It is easy to apply and remove, and when correctly fitted adapts to the person without any individual adjustments needed.

The Original Sling’s design allows the person to hold his or her arms either inside or outside of the sling, and offers leg support options. The fabric is reinforcement-free and supports soft-padding for people who suffer from pressure-sensitive.

The Original Sling is offered in six sizes (XS-XL) and in polyester, net polyester and plastic-coated net fabric and is available in a variety of standard versions. This would be assessed which type of sling would be suitable a the initial assessment.

The Original High Back Sling is Liko's most popular sling. The sling provides comfortable, whole-body support suitable for most people. The sling design offers a reclined sitting posture for a person with poor head and trunk stability. It has separated leg supports to ensure that the person does not sit on the sling after use. Instead, the sling is easily removed from the chair after the transfer and can be used for lifting to and from the floor.

This sling type comes in seven different sizes (XS - XXL). The design is ideal, when fitted correctly it adapts itself to the person without any individual adjustments. It is important to choose the correct size to achieve the highest level of comfort and this will be achieved at the initial assessment.
